Hey everyone, I have some questions for male gamers; if you're willing to take a short poll, please hop over to my blog and fill it out (you can be anonymous if you want):

Please, guys only for this one. Also, feel free to share the URL; the more responses I get, the more useful it'll be to me. If there's enough interest, I'll post the results in a month or so.

The Research Triangle SF Society Lives! [Jun. 18th, 2007|10:13 am]

[mood |cheerfulcheerful]

Cribbed from dmk and crossposted to ithb, triangleites, and trianglegames (apologies to those who see this multiple times):

Just in time for its 10th anniversary, we're revitalizing the Research Triangle Science Fiction Society (RTSFS)!

There are now three URLs for the club:

* rtsfs.com is the primary link

* TriangleSF.org and

* TriangleSF.com are new names suggested through the mailing lists that make sense; they're easier to pronounce and remember.

Please note that rtsfs.org is no longer valid; we slipped up, and a squatter has it now (grrrr). We're hoping it will become available next time it expires, but we sure aren't paying a bunch of money to someone to get it back. If you find any links on other websites that still point to the old domain, rtsfs.org, please drop a line t webmaster [AT] rtsfs [DOT] com with the link and contact info, and I'll make sure to contact the other site's webmaster.

We have created three LiveJournal communities:

* rtsfs is the primary journal for members to post discussions, announce parties, and so on. Check the RTSFS Community Profile for more information and fill out the RTSFS Members Poll.

* rtsfs_announce is for announcements only, set to allow only moderator posts.

* trianglesf is a stub, set to allow only moderator posts, and it points back to rtsfs.

If you have general ideas you'd like to discuss about the website or the LJ communities, feel free to join in; if there's an issue that needs to be addressed in a timely manner, be sure to e-mail one of the mods or officers or the webmaster.

Note that these LJ communities are here to extend the RTSFS fun, not to replace the e-mail lists! BTW, if you're not on the RTSFS email list and want to sign up, you can do so here:

Thanks! Please join the LJ communities and spread the word!
